Baby You know me

In my deepest part of me

I find your heart to be

beside me now and forevermore

You were my first love

and I adored

You from near and afar

Heartbroken when you said goodbye

not another chance

I ask one question

Why

You set my heart on fire

Little hearts get broken quick

It can take a life time to mend

But the heart never forgets

The love it once had

and no regrets

I love you with all I had

to give heart mind and soul

I was just happy walking

you to school

We were just very cool kids

wanting a love to be true

a good feeling inside

two hearts like to minds

Thinking and growing alike

you told me I was your

One In A million

we had that special love

When I held your hands

My Heart skipped a beat

In my mind no other Gal

Could complete

You loving me 

made me calm and without fear

as we got older you wanted 

More than I could give

So we sadly walked away 

from two heart intertwined

One was Yours

the Other mind

it was hard to call you friend

but if that was all that was 

left I accepted it and remembered

What we had was special

Too the both of us

we share and cared

for one and other

the feeling were deeper 

But I knew I have to get over you

or my heart would not recover

To ever love another

my heart pounded in my chest

When I heard you sweet lips

say those very important words

Meant for only me to hear

How much you loved me my dear

I closed my eyes each night

after we long hung up the phone

in between my ears I still could 

Hear you say I love you 

This meant the world to me

First loves last forever in our 

hearts the expressions

of love will last forevermore
