You and me against the world

that is the way of the world

It has been said Many of times

Its you and me against the world

and only the strong survive

We work for what we get in life

a penny earned is a penny saved

We need many pennies to survive

Its a working man's world

To him all the thrills

Wife and Kids safe at home

He works all day in the fields

Making his way in the world

Capturing his corner

Life can be stressful on the wife

The man's in command

Life is not easy for the man of faith

He has to face the daily grind

More his than mine

I pray to my God of heaven

For this man and wife

Whom I love and respect

For they are flesh of my flesh

and bone of my bone

I will never forsake them

or leave them to think they are alone

My God has taught me 

Love Concurs all

and The love I share

I bare my heart
