Sitting alone at the bar

It seems I haven't had some in a while

If I spilled my pot of beans

and left you in on a few things

Its hard to trust these days

you feel you must protect yourself

from being hurt

we always were told about stranger danger

but how do you make strangers become

friends without a little thing called trust

How far do you trust your friend

or some one you just met

what do you say

what do you tell them

your good points and bad

You must leave you guard down at some

 point and let kindness and knowledge

that we are not all perfect and all have faults and true love is about forgiving those

Faults with unconditional love
