She was My Flower In God's Garden

She was My Flower In God's Garden

A Poem by SmittyJas
"

Let's Pray She Stays that way

"
She is my Flower
In God's garden
Living off the land
and the water's that fall
From the Canopy
Like leaves from the trees
In the autumn breeze
I would Pick her flower's
As we walked by
Talk for hours
Of our plans to wed
and have a family tie
Sometimes she would be sad
and she would shed a tear and cry
I tried to make her happy
Like the Blue In The Sky
Sometimes this was a mystery to me
How does this Mechanics work
and somedays not to make her weep
For it is the happiness I seek
Talking for hours
with no repeat
Made us happy and compete
I was happy holding her hands
It was heart warming
and tender to my soul
Boy meets Girl
Your Mind starts to twirl
It's a good thing we met
When we did I loved her so
I let her know
I wanted to keep her for life
Make her my wife
She was a pretty Gal to me
I did not see no faults you see
I'm Glad she came my way
No more I have to say
I'm Going to love her every day

Beauitful I really enjoyed this

Sounds to me like perhaps your love brought to surface some pains of love for her.
Sometimes we carry things too long and they can ruin the now.
Perhaps, she will learn this thru the reflection of your love.
Maybe not today but tomorrow.
It is good that you saw where you needed to be and what you wanted.

I guess you know to look for someone who can let go and enjoy the love now.
This is a good write Smitty and good lessons in it.
