Coming Home for the Holidays

I am One of seven children

and now that I'm 58

The Family had grown quit

a bit

getting tables set for 

Thanksgivings day

Is quit the task

We had to split the family in half my Brother and his 10 grandchildren meet at his Daughter's house

and the other three local family meet at my sister's house for thanksgivings dinner

most times about 25-35 members of my family Get together for a warm loving family get to gather

Some out of town folks sometimes just can't make it in we pray for them at meal time and bless their families

Everyone brings something to share the host of the house cooks the Turkey stuffing other members bring the wine and bean salads and other Thanksgivings treats

Lots of pies for us to share I always to fool from the Turkey and potatoes Gravy and stuffing to eat a piece of pie must hope for left overs for friday and continue the holiday. But thanks givings day at our family gatherings are a great celebration

Good to be thankful every day. Since moving to Mich. I go with my sister to God's House where dinner is prepared by all and we celebrate and be thankful with our church family. Valentine
