Down By the lake

Time For you and me

We can carry the boat 

down near the lake

were we can launch it for a days excursion 

On the calm lake of our hearts

You in your white tube top

and Short Shorts

Me in my black Speedo's

Ready for a day a sailing and love

No one to get in our way

We planned this trip for months now

A day on the lake in the sun

Yes for us perfect is sunny and seventy five

With a smoothy drinks with some alcohol

To take the stress of the day away

we can coast out to sea

In our sail boat for two

We are going to be lazy today

Sitting around on our lounge chairs

Soaking up the sun

Hold hand in hand I be smoothing her

as we coast on the waters

In the warm sunny days

of summer 

we hold on to each other

You giving your day to me

Me giving my day to you

To explore the loving we share

as we wish our lives away

Sailing off shore and we are alone

have this deck of the ship as I own

Looking curvy and smart

You start a fire lane of love

and fevers rise

I break out in a cold sweat

Then we start to reminisce

Those year of the past

when time was rich

and uncountable

We thought we had all 

The time in the world

To explore love and all its mysteries

Loves world was ours to explore

But forty years when by

and many tears we cried

We lost our love and our pride

We didn't know how we were going to survive

Life was not so simple

That it was way back when

We were young and healthy

Youth in our teens

Now we are pushing sixty

and have not the freedom of our youth

But the worries of the on coming death

that is promised to every woman and man on earth
