Smoking GunA Poem by SmittyJasaction westernGet your gun Meet me in the middle of the street where the dust is thin and the hearts are heavy Where you should have your pistol ready could it be another gun fight at the OK corral The western winds are a blown Pistols are loaded Gangs with guns Lawman on one side outlaws on the other Mother's son's and daughter's sending up prayers for one and other The streets are empty only the gunfighters rights who will live or who will die we will know by the end of the night Graves are being dug as we speak at the boot hill cemetery They took their last drink at the saloon Its time for a gun fight in the afternoon trigger happy gun man ready to go Gun in hoisters hand ready to draw Now who shoots first who goes to heaven who goes to hell Its a gunfighters paradise in an old western town smoking gun Smoking gun who lay on the ground
