Longevity and My Life, I wish I had a love for life

Longevity and My Life, I wish I had a love for life

A Poem by SmittyJas
"

The Loneliness that is me

"
Dear Friend
Don't get caught in the trap
The Loneliness that is me
had a wife and kids

Now I only have me
The wife divorced me years ago
the kids grew up and move away from home
All I got is me and a few good friends

That I hold on too
Like a worn out song
There are family and 2 friends
That call me constantly

Those two friends can drive me nuts some times
But they are what keep me from total loneliness
Family is good they wonder if I'm taking care of me
Longevity and my Life, I wish I had a love for life

She would be a dream come true
I would have lonely in my life any more
Maybe I would smile a little more often
LIve with a God Given Purpose

A love to mention instead of a broken heart
I been living with since my wife left me years ago
Seems I never gave love a chance again
I didn't knock on the door of another maiden

Love the second time around
I just thought I would fall to hard
Just don't believe
I could make a fuss

over a woman and keep wondering if its real
Or if I would be taken seriously
The loneliness that is me
No woman could penetrate this broken heart
