The Day After Valentine's

The Day After Valentine's

A Poem by SmittyJas
"

Smooch

"
It was the day after Valentine's
And I put all my eggs on
One little miss
I knew if I held her

She would give me a kiss
The Day After Valentine's
Her Kiss wouldn't miss
She has a set of ruby lips

And curly blond hair
upon her head
She smiled at me
Then we danced to the music

and I read a poem for her
She shed a tear
She fell in love
With me for many years

For we shared love
On Valentine's day
and on the day after
We were still a couple at bay

We were in love for a time or two
Gentle kisses on lips
Guided by moonlights gift
We forever in love

We couldn't miss.
One to another a little kiss.
