The Copper TreeA Poem by SmittyJasThe Family CopperThe Copper Tree Stood for years In the back yard It was the family tree Underneath green grass grows fondly planted were two parents Six siblings 2 girls and 4 boys A strong Irish family Catholics all are we In God we trust engraved on our family plot That raised the bar for all of us a lot was expected when a lot was given The six siblings had their rules to fill The family business to control Millions can roll in daily From Investments all over the world Now the boys were sly and crafty They were into the market Wanting to keep their seats at the stock exchange Where their Father sat before them Building the family name The called them the Copper Heads and flipped a coin and picked some good stocks to invest in The Copper Heads always came out On top of the market averages each month, day and year. The Boys were wheeling and dealing on Wall street they had their hedge on life and it was awful bright At home the Children were taught and schooled privately at the best schools around where the best money was spent the best education for the wealthy and the top one percent. The Copper Tree was the place for financial security
