Listen to what I have to say this time of year

Peace on earth good will to man

Was the plan of the Man from Galilee

he preached and taught of a place full of love

A place where no bombs drop from above

he spoke of peace hope and love

For all to see let sinner know they can be free

he was a man of peace no army he lead

No blood he shed

Spoke of a free gift from the savior

Of mansions in heaven

and streets paved with gold

Of love for all peace can be theirs

So I was told when I was in my younger days
