A Poem of Romance

Dear darling

I kept calling till

You answered

Then I gave the romantic talk

That melted your heart

I said the most wonderful things

That made your ears ring

With the sound of wedded bells forever

Before this romantic talk

You would not begin the long walk to remember

When two hearts met at the alter of Our Lord

A love meant to be forevermore

As the knot was tied

Between a groom and his bride

They had laughter life and nothing to hide

Lifelong they will be side by side

Melting each others hearts

As they will never be apart

With God As Their Guide

And a sense of romantic pride

They shall be at each other side

From this day till our hearts stop beating

And we are at rest

And we gave love our best shot

We made the promises 

In front of family and our friends

On our faithful day we were wed

Our love shall not subside

She was happy with her groom

I was happy with my bride

As God as our witness and our guide

We said we will love till the day we die
