Forever my love

Forever my love

A Poem by SmittyJas
"

A love that last forever not like one of my own

"
There were good times
There were bad times
for a love forever more
A love everlasting

A love for all time
Eternity kind of love
It wasn't your's or mind
We had a different kind of love

One that didn't pass the test of time
The one that wasn't your's or wasn't mine
It passed away all in a matter of time
A love that last forever

Not like one of our own
That had turned to stone
Melted away like big ice burgs
in the ocean front

A warm air mixture
Grabs a hold of me
and you are nowhere to be found
Forever in Love

Is not part of our vocabulary
We just get a little weary
When forever is mentioned
and our names come up in that sentence

Our love was never meant to be
Love was not in our dictionary
It was a fictionary tale
Told by wrongful lovers

That were wrong for each other
But I must be going now
I have a dead line to meet
She lives on the other side of town

and her face will have a frown
If I'm late for our lunch date
