A battle for ones heart and the gift of a simple red rose

To My Dear Lady

I gave my Heart

and a simple Red Rose

It sure kept her on her toes

She loved to smell that red rose

So I gave her a dozen of those

She smiled at me

When she seen the bouquet 

Rapped up in a pretty red ribbon

I also had a box of chocolates

That she kept her eyes on

She began to blush

It was so neat 

I seen her rosy cheeks

I was proud to bring that smile

To her face that one I could not erase

She has a pleasing eyes of blue

When she steers at you

When she smiles at me

She shows two dimples on her cheeks

In my mind I want to kiss her

On her ruby lips

She wares beautiful make up

When we go out at night

She is waring a lovely Gray velvet dress

She must do this to impress

She is quit the crowd pleaser

But to me she just my big teaser
