Messy Things

Messy Things

A Poem by SmittyJas
"

I remember when

"
Yes we had some messy things
We went for a walk
A little after dark
We stopped at the Isley's shop
For Ice cream and Soda Pop
It was our first date
We held hands and looked
in each others eyes
With content and passion no disguise
We shared some time and conversation
Gave her another innovation to dinner for two
My treat and I will be sweet when we meet
You can count on a nice bow tie and a white shirt
A black pair of pants and some dancing shoes
We'll dance to the boogie Woogie flu
We'll catch a fever on the dance floor
We'll dance like we never danced before
Twist our heels and hips roll our arms
and Dance the night away end with a kiss
On a romantic night like this
And Moon LIght as we walk home a slow stroll
