We're still winner's

We're still winner's

A Poem by SmittyJas
"

Leaders of our Band

"
We may lose a few players along the way
But we are still winners anyway
Our replacement players will stand the test of time
We'll out hit your best batters in the ninths

A win is a win is a win
No matter who is at bat
We'll still win in the end
Baseball is a long season

we have time to recover
From little injury
and come back better than before
Ready to complete the season

WIth their other healthy teammates
Ready to carry on to September rein
My love of Baseball last from April till November
When the World Series ends

and a champion is crowned
and another year comes to an end
Memories are left in the Dust of the summer winds
Of Baseball games won or lost by one run

and days or nights of glory
Baseball is the Big Story
