Life's Little SurpriseA Poem by SmittyJasMarried with ChildrenIt was the summer of 85 So hot I thought I could not survive We had our third child on the way Wanted to name her Charlie I knew from the others she would be Blond haired and blue eyes She was due for October and twenty five Charlie would be a blessing to our house A little dynamite to add to the mix Third children are there own little mess They have to be independent and do things on there own Mommy busy with Barbara and Larry The older siblings Who would teach Charlie to walk talk and a few things left unmentionable Charlie would learn quckly Better then the elders Barbara and Larry Thought Charlie was great fun years when by and we could cry they moved to fast I thought teen years would last forever and a day Our three blessing Left at eighteen to visit a university of their choice I said my prayers and paid the bills and sent them with my blessings and eighteen years of Golden rules © 2014 SmittyJas |
