I'm Just A Fool

I once was a lonely boy

Before I met you

Then you showed my around town

And we danced to the music

I treated you with kindness

The tenderness of a fool

You took my loving 

Then you took me to school

You twisted and shattered my heart to pieces

You told me to go back to my nieces

Family kin fitted you better then thee

I broke down and cried and got down on one knee

bagged you Pretty Please

don't walk away from me

You're tearing my heart to pieces

You thought I would get along better with my nieces

I want you back I cried

But again you lied

You took what little pride

and you ran away to hide

My heart was aching

My lips were missing yours

When you kissed my I felt secure

But thats no more

You two timing cheating Girl

Now my heart is sore

I walked away but ask for more

I thrown away the key to your door

No More No More

I love you No More

The pain to great

You sure were a fake

I rescued my heart from your fate

You my broken heartache

The one I can relate to heartache

I'm Just a fool with foolish love

Smittly Jas,
Human beings need one another. We try and sometimes we fall.
When a relationship is toxic you'd think it would be crystal clear
but many will still pursue something which is simply poison.
This was an example of how the human will wants what it wants.
That same will is where we find growth and health and healing
when a relationship is over.

I remember a quote from a certain story I've read before. "I loved him too much but I learned. Loving too much can hurt too much." Our hearts can be really fragile when it comes to love. It's a huge battle to conquer whenever we face the kind of heartache that even chocolates or liquors cannot heal. You've portrayed melancholy very well in this poem. It must be such a painful experience. I've been there before but I guess we all learn from it. Time will heal the wounds, perhaps. And another day is going to be a new beginning. This was a good read. :)
