Bloom

Bloom

A Poem by AnnaMae
"

A poem for my future child and what i hope they will pursue and follow.

"
Dear child of mine,
Stay pure with time's passage
Of the old washed away.
Learn life's own message
And sprout like flowers of May.
Stay golden and strong from the wind's harsh erosion,
Think with others in mind,
Put ideas into motion.
Don't turn the world with one eye blind.
Stay attuned to life's melody
And all will be fine.

Yes I can feel your empathy in bloom, I hope that you protect your sensitivity to keep it. I know it isn't always easy in this world to do so. There is a healing in your poetry, and it's preferable to me than most other verse.

This is brilliantly put together, good imagery and a nice flow to it.
