Memories

Memories

A Poem by smith
"

just a short piece on how memories effect the here and now

"

The gentle flow of wind

Redolent of times flown by

Most snuff scents of pleasure

Mais à  moi?

The breeze is a bitter fetor

Of a memory long slaughtered

Convivial Couples caper

Along the wretched earth

Most feel felicity

Mais à  moi?

It is a world unwilling

To exculpate the damaged

Night esurient for light

Indulges every fold of land

Most find it innocuous

Mais à  moi?

Caliginosity is a sadistic showman

Releasing the tigers of the past
