Toast to You, My Heart Breaker

An old Poem I wrote from a heart break I was suffering from. So To cheer myself up a little, I dedicated this to that person. ;)

Smiles, laughs, promises,

they were all fake weren't they?

you played with me,

and when you've got tired of me,

threw me away like a toy and moved on,

you've trampled my heart,

leaving scars that will remind me every time,

and i can only over and over,

numb my pain with lies,

I'm dying inside while you're somewhere else,

probably laughing and tricking another heart,

go on and do your evil thing,

go ahead and eat em' dry,

I'll wait and watch you fall,

so here's a toast to you,

here's to all the heart breakers,

I've seen it,

you're all the same,

living only off your pleasures,

and being selfish like what you are,

you think you're right and yet you're so wrong,

even though our memories together,

are only those built off lies,

i will forget you,

i will move on,

so here's where i cut my ties,

and we walk our different paths,

here's a toast to you,

here's to all the heart breakers.

Author's Note

Ah, by the way, I wrote this a long time ago, so some stuff might not really make sense, but I didn't really care because I was literally crying and cheering myself up when I wrote this. And I just left it that way ever since to keep its...genuine feelings. Ha ha.
