The Elements in MeA Poem by -Scribe in Style-A first draft of a thought process. No idea where ito came from or where it will lead but I think it should be followed by at least 5 more poems. One for each element and then another one to end.
The elements in me.
A fire burns within my soul Water flows to caress my soul A gush of air to test my soul But the Earth protects my soul The elements all live inside of me; They provide balance and consistency, They direct towards a high power, And hold me in life's orbital radar. The fire fuels my passionate desires, Harnesses my innermost emotions. It inflames my thoughts into eruptions, Forces outward impulsive reactions. The water washes, replenishes and Freshens, to bring out vitality and Purity, to pump through my heart's veins and Arteries; go on flowing and withstand. The wind in the air tornadoes around, Swirling, curling, swooping without a sound. It brings before me exams beyond bound, But gives me balance to stay firm and ground. The soils under my feet invite me home. It says it'll cuddle when I'll be alone. On the land I will have lived, reaped and sown. Earth will betray me now and when I'm gone. Fire, water, air, and land: The quadrant element pattern; Resides within forcing me to feel: With alll five senses be it pain or pleasure; All the time; always; then, now, until it's over! © 2016 -Scribe in Style-Author's Note
