Tanka - Speed Past Forest Trees

Tanka - Speed Past Forest Trees

A Poem by -Scribe in Style-
"

When you're sitting in the car on the free way staring out the window and you see the passing trees merge into one, forming lines... unseparated.

"
Connected cling film -
Shades of green spread into more.
Leaves are hanging -
Raining colours of autumn.
Branches and trunks hold air tight.

I confess I am unfamiliar with the Tanka format, but just going by the words written (and taking into account your comment) the metaphor with the trees rings resoundingly true. VERY nicely written, great job! take care...dan

I do understand this poem. When we are moving so fast. Can miss the beauty of nature and the view of life. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
