Tanka - Car Trail

Tanka - Car Trail

A Poem by -Scribe in Style-
"

A drive

"
Open road ahead
Clouded by trees of judgement
Drive through shoulder bends
Overbearing decisions
Travellers kill barriers.

There is so much deep thought enclosed within this piece; I don't have a big familiarity with tanka but you employ it so well...it is almost like espousing a philosophy and making it available to be judged by the reader. This is outstanding writing, pure and simple. Nice job! take care...dan

I like that you seem to enjoy going on cruises (who doesn't, right? but still...) and you're contemplative about them and very observational and your practice of tying them in with your thoughts. You make it poetic, that's good. However, I know you have more to say and have witnessed more than what your pretty lines convey. Strive to dig a little deeper but make it less complex. You tell, which is great, but show, and it will be that much greater :)
