A Poem by -Scribe in Style-
"

to end a year of teaching hisotry in year 3

"

Al " Darajah Salesa Standard Times

A little over a year ago, you sat as two separate classes;
When in many subjects, with me, you took your credible chances.
Each one of you students made a dear place in my heart,
And then the year ended just as we were off to a good start.

Now into one skeleton both classes have united and grown "
In standard three each is another’s supportive bone.
Your classroom walls became your ultimate home,
Hidden away you created your own fun-filled zone.

Given the honour of teaching you Kenyan and Indian History,
At first I wondered if it was some kind of great trickery;
Either that or the blame lied with fate for it was my destiny
And studying in colour would be our survival remedy.

To jump from century to century, we needed heavy army artillery!
Charts and short notes still looked like murderous mystery-
So out came the emergency snack aid in case of boredom injury;
And in this way you got through the lesson rather quickly.

You passed each other notes to show each other deep sympathy,
It’s too bad the course didn’t come with an action movie and
It didn’t help that it was written as a black and white story -
Nonetheless we got through the chapters relatively swiftly.

In His happiness, with His special prayers and assistance, the course completed.
With gratitude and sincere thanks unto Him I pray that you have indeed comprehended.
In my feebleness and incapability for every wrong word, unintended " I seek forgiveness and I pray that from your minds those be suspended.

In the Sciences exhibition you played a great role,
You gave it great meaning and accomplished the goal.
As a Uni student in your efforts you give your heart and soul -
I invite you and your ideas to become next year’s Science patrol!

Learning and teaching alongside your class has been lovely.
Much appreciation for the apt magnetic frames and most importantly -
For the binding and respect of being part of your family;
It’s been a great pleasure and see you all next year most certainly.
[Allah Willing]

All the best for your upcoming final examinations.
Answer with full confidence and clear expressions.
Then go on to devour in your two month vacation.
Return next academic year with even more dedication.

Valedictory Address:
     Grab your own Victory!
     Make your own History!
