Lady Red

Lady Red

A Poem by Andromeda
"

"Equilibrium"

"

Mayhem—

May we

Maybe

Wonder

At the meaning?

Watch it so cruelly

At the screening,

In the teeming within the mind,

And this world has never been kind.

She wore a red ribbon in her hair—

In the mayhem,

Don’t you dare.

How can you stare?

And not even care?

May we

Maybe

Wonder

At the meaning?

So much left unsaid—

All in the red

Of the ribbon in her hair.

Mayhem.

She wore a red ribbon in her hair.

I enjoy this poem. Sometime people need a reason to talk. A woman with a red ribbon in her hair should not effect her world so strongly. Thank you for the outstanding poem.

Brilliant twisting of words, thought, feelings... Taking an brush and stroking magic paints all over... Loved this!

I love your rhymes. They are so free and easy and they read so smoothly, yet when spoken it adds even more of a flair.
