Crystal Blight

Crystal Blight

A Poem by Andromeda
"

influenced from the movie "Equilibrium"

"

Rip the mirror from the wall

And watch the bug bites crawl,

All along the edges as they fall

Lost in their crystal ball—

Can you feel them bite

Or is it all an after-sight?

Lost in the stream-of-consciousness-sight,

Or just in the blackness of a summer-Halloween’s night?

And watch the bug bites crawl,

Rip the mirror from the wall.

Is this the blight that is the evil side of delight?

Fear no fright and hold hands with the night—

All rhymes in a crystal blight—that crystal blight

And broken might/shattered fight.

Lost in their crystal ball,

All along the edges as they fall.

Can you feel them bite

Or is it all an after-sight?

Smile as you give in, on the wings of a demon kite,

Hold hands with the night.

I need to watch the whole movie. I only saw the end, but I have a feeling this would be even more amazing had I seen the whole thing.
