Wildflower

Wildflower

A Poem by Andromeda
"

yay, plants!

"

They said you were a

Wildflower—

That I couldn’t watch you bloom,

But I threw that thought away,

And stand here every day

Just to watch my

Wildflower

Bloom for me.

They said I was a

Cactus—

That I’d poke you if you came to close,

But you laughed away that thought,

And bought a cushioned pair

Of gloves.
