A Few Twisted Chords

A Few Twisted Chords

A Poem by Andromeda
"

inspired by eerie music

"

Her music was like

A dance in the twilight

Eerie as a midnight hunter

And bitter as

A scorned-lover’s fight.

A few twisted cords and

All were hooked on

In the chase that

Was long gone,

Replaced by desire

Desire

Desire for revenge.

Her music was

A big fish’s bite

At the end of a hook

Cast in the dark of

Revenge’s night.

The music of the scorned. Twisted and dark. Like it.

One correction though:

"And bitter as the

A scorned-lover's fight."

As the "what"?

I like these musical poems. The last stanza is nice; I like how you take an image and stick with it. That goes for all of your poems, and not just this.
