The Man From the Dark Alley

The Man From the Dark Alley

A Poem by Andromeda
"

unfinished...?

"

Just outside the city walls,

There was an old man

Who grew up in haunted halls.

He writes his stories down on

Papers lost to the streets,

With the last breaths of every dying pen.

He sold his soul so long ago

To the demon of the inner-city

Places on the shrine of the corner alley,

Every word: his life’s apology.
