Insomnia

Insomnia

A Poem by Andromeda
"

doesnt make perfect sense, but hey...

"

It shook like a shivering winter rose

Lightning in its final throes

As it shivered,

Shivered in the cold—

Thorns on a rose

Rose left in the cold:

Sunset, sunrise

And the day that we have left behind,

The day that we have met.

Red rose color

Dye the sky,

Blue color the shade of

Winter in the

Morning of May.

Shut your eyes and

Smile as we greet the day.

Feel the quiet dance around.

Feel the quiet shake like a

Shivering winter rose, like

Lightning in its final throes.

The quiet of the morning

That so few of us know.
