![]() The Girl Who Wrote the FairytalesA Poem by Andromeda![]() inspired by the drapes lol![]() As a child, She was always the kind to Hide behind the curtains, Blowing hard to Pretend she was a fire-breathing dragon, Capable to not just Move the drapes— Dance the drapes— But also to Move the words Her mother said, Move the words Her father never did Move the moments When she felt Her tears might leak Like the spout On the kitchen sink. But soon Her blowing-drape days were Over And she found— Unexpectedly— A four-leaf clover: The words that rambled through Her head— Everything she could not Blow away Turned to Fairytales, White-horsed knights, And hairbreadth Adventures instead.
