And she had diamond hair like Saturday mornings at the fair: White sand And pure air. She dressed herself in shades of gray And sung alone for five years’ day: Hold her hand And pray. In the future, she was held trapped; Lines drawn clear and mapped as Foul weather Dreams wrapped.
