Nomad

Nomad

A Poem by Andromeda
"

...

"

Another endless chain of commercials and

I take just a moment

Just to

                        Breathe

Words can be anything when voices are in

                        Mute

And how did I get here tonight...

Was it curiosity that killed me?

Or did I just

Believe I

Did not know any

            Better?

Sometimes I forget that I wasn’t

Born in this

Vampirish

Godforsaken

Gloom

And I’m getting sick of

A different hotel pillow cradling my head

Every

                        Morning—

And they all smell the same anyways

...Is it

Just me

Or do the commercials on hotel televisions last

Twice as long?
