Mirror

Sabrina was the type of girl whose socks

Always Matched,

Whose hair was

Always Perfect curled,

Who carried two mirrors in her gold purse—

One always a hand reach away—

And another—

Another shimmering, perfect-reflecting
Mirror

Inside the iris of her right eye,

Where she could always

Glance at her
Marvelous Face.

There was an

Off switch

To this mirror,

But Sabrina never used it.
