Angel Dreams

She watched the waves,

Thinking how

They swell like

            Angel dreams,

Thinking how

They never             pause,

But continue ever

            Rhythmically on.

 

She dived into them—

These waves—

And

Doused her hair in

            Angel dreams—

Never paused, just

Let her tears blend in:

Add to the salt of the sea,

The sea which

Arose

From endless, eternal eyes doing

Just as she.
