Do You Know What's Going On?

I don't know what's going on.

     People are always asking me things like I know something. If I know, then I'll say so. Don't ask me what's going on. Don't ask me what we are doing. I do not think that I will know. I think that you know that I know that I do not know what is going on. You do.

 

 

     We do stupid things all the time. We do illegal things and sit in silence for a couple of hours. Then you know exactly what we are doing. Nothing. And it's not a crime to do nothing, so why is it a crime? Maybe it is because you know what is going on at that moment. You know.  

 

 

     It's not fair to count me out, but I suppose you should because I do not understand what we are doing. I never do. Right?

For some reason I want to read between the lines and say that the character in your story does know whats going on but is mad because he is automatically the one they ask first with out so much as a benefit of the doubt. Interesting.
