Cutting Away

Cutting Away

A Poem by Jared
"

This was inspired after a breakup.....

"
Cars  don't need to crash.
The metal doesn't wanna rip
It doesn't want to tear.
As sparks fly and fire insures,
it shouldn't come apart,
but it does.

Some things need to come apart,
like the dying leaves in the crisp fall.
In their death, they become more beautiful and astounding
then they ever were in life. Yet,in those last moments, you can't help but feel
sorrow as it finally falls apart. But,it needed to happen so new life could spring up from the
decrepit ashes of the old life,a life lost forever.

All things have to end.

Oi. The ending is a hard hit. Well, the whole poem is. But it's sadly all true. This poem has reassurance, but also a touch of overwhelming, sorrful truth. ...Man. Bravo
