Chapter 3

 “Okay, you guys can go!” Mr Smith said. Class was now over. I stood up and collected my books.

 

“Ready?” Nick asked me.

 

“For what?” I acted dumb, “Just kidding. Yeah. Let’s go.” Nick and I headed out of the school. As we walked eyes were on us. I looked around nervously. “Why are they staring at us?”

 

“Because your hot.”

 

“What?”

 

“It was joke, don’t worry, I’m not hitting on you.” He laughed. “You don’t want to get caught up with a Rockstar like me.”

 

“Yeah, because your so bad.” I glared at him. “Little Christian boy.”

 

“Ouch.” He smiled.

 

We made it to his classic and very beautiful mustang. I climbed into the passenger seat as he went towards the drivers seat.

He started the car and we were off.

 

“So, are you a fan of me and my brothers?” Nick asked as we headed to the Starbucks down the street.

 

“Yeah. I have been for like six years.” I told him. “I have been to a concert and I have watched every live chat.” I smiled.

 

“Sweet.” Nick nodded his head. “You have a favourite brother?”

 

“I don’t pick favourites” I grind. Nick was a bit flirtier then I expected him to be. I didn’t want to say that Joe was the brother I had the mega crush on, because what if Nick liked me?

 

Nick sighed, “No really.” When we stopped at a red light he pulled out my pen from his pocket, “Here.” He handed it to me. “Thanks by the way, kind of awkward writing with a Jonas Pen though.”

 

I laughed. “No problem. And I do not have a favourite.”

 

“Yes you do, every fan has one.”

 

“Well, I say I have a crush on him… not that he’s my favourite.” I smirked.

 

“Ohh, scandal!” He smiled. “Who is it then?”

 

I looked out the window then back at Nick.

 

“Is it, Kevin?” he asked. I smiled at him. “Me?” My smile stayed on my face. “Joe?” My smile slightly faded and I couldn’t help but blush. “IT’S JOE!”

 

I rolled my eyes and groaned. “Yeah, I guess it is.”

 

Nick laughed. “I can introduce you two.” He told me.

 

My eyes widened. “I’m fine!” I didn’t want to meet Joe, I had a mega crush on him and meeting him would be too much for my heart to manage. I knew I would be way too nervous to speak; or even breath.

 

“Why?” He asked me, looking at me with curiosity.

 

“I’m, uh, not ready?” I said it in more of a question.

 

Nick smiled at me. We pulled into a parking space and got out of his car. We walked towards Starbucks together. What a day this will be. Nick then looked at me and smiled, “Let’s go to the movies or something later on, I have a free schedule all day.”

I shrugged. “Why not.”

 

“We could always just hang out all day and figure out what we want to do later.’ He suggested.

 

“Sounds like a plan to me.” I told him with a nod.

 

Best friends with Nick Jonas? Who knew this would happen?  But my main concern was meeting Joe. I knew I would become close friends with Nick, but I was terrified of meeting his brother.
