Part 2A Chapter by Anthony CookSly woke up in a broken down apartment building in a smoke smelling room. "How'd I get here?" He asked himself. "I brought you here." A voice said. Sly scanned the room and saw nothing but Ashley slumped in a chair. "Who's talking to me, where are you?” “I am you.” The voice said. Sly shook his head. “No buddy I’m me, you're just some weird voice in my head...which I’m for some reason talking to.” There was a silence until. “YOU DARE CALL ME A VOICE IN YOUR HEAD I AM MERELY USING YOU AS A HIDING PLACE! I AM THE GOD OF WAR ARES AND YOU EXPECT ME TO ALLOW YOU TO TALK ABOUT ME THAT WAY!” Sly smacked his ears from the effects of the booming voice. “Jeez Ares quiet down, I’m not deaf.” The God groaned. “You are now me and I am you but we are one. Simple enough?” Sly shrugged. “I guess so but where are we?” Ares paused. “I do not know. When I became your subconscious Odin moved us to a new and secure location and from here all other half gods will appear.” "Half Gods? I thought we were just hosts?" "You are just hosts but if you die I myself will also die." Sly slid down against the wall. "So you expect me to go into danger?" "Yes absolutely now I am nothing but your subconscious but even if you do die we will not die permanently as long as Anubis stays on your side." "Wait, so how are you Ares but Anubis is real too?" Ares laughed, "You mortals always knew that gods existed but you got our names and features wrong and separated us , then you called us myths when we helped you find knowledge." "So are you like, Salty about it Ares?" Sly asked. Ares scoffed and went silent. "Ares?" Sly said. Then he felt as if he hadn't slept in a thousand years. "A small nap won't hurt anything, then I'll go get some from the store." __________________________________________________________
Ashley Ashley woke up from her slumped position in the Chair only to see the Parasitic god that possessed her in front of her. "It's you again?" She said. The tall god Merely bowed. "I am Anubis god of Death and we were not formally introduced." He spoke much differently than he did before his voice had gone soft and he wore the same attire as Ashley. "Why are you wearing my Clothes?" She asked the god. "We gods are not gender Specific beings I a female for in order to better communicate with you" Ashley nodded. "Okay but where...are we?"
