StrangerA Poem by LiliansGift
Sometimes I think back
To the love we used to share And now I find it crumbling I can't bring myself to care There was a time when I fought for you Through thick and through thin And every time I cried You counted it as a win I don't understand Why we did this to ourselves We should have let wounds heal And gone on with our hell So this time when you walk There will be no tears My gut will not clench And you won't be my fear I'm going to move on As I should have long ago I will never look back On the stranger I used to know © 2013 LiliansGiftAuthor's Note
