Was it because I was afraid that I might not get the last dance

Was it because I just didn't know how to say it to her

A chance that I can finally be with her

To do what couples do and be what couples are suppose to be

Well I guess I'll never have that chance...

But wait...

When I first met you, you were my best friend

To telling everything to each other, being there for one another

But then I started to fall for you, and my goal was to be with you

I swore that I'll never hurt you as I promise that I'll love you 

I wouldn't want to see you hurt for It will make my sad

Because you are the light of my day and I'll never keep you astray

" I love you " these three words, words that I'll never get to say

Because when I look back you end up with someone else

Not knowing what to do or to say, you started to break

Seeing you in this state is causing me to go insane 

Because seeing you like this I have no words to say

All I can do is be there for you and lend you my shoulder

Inside me I'm getting fed up with all these problems

That all your boyfriends are giving you everyday 

If I can just go to their house and hit it with a boulder

If that's what it takes for you to realize that stop with this nonsense

Don't you see me, don't you realize that I can do better than them

I can love you, care for you, and not hurt you 

But I was wrong for she was blinded

Blinded by charms, are all princes raised to be just so charming

But are they never sincere?

Here I am in this lonely island filled with anger and pain

Hurting to see her crying sitting on chair outside your balcony

Then the next day, you were all cheery 

But guess what her love is just on repeat

You were my five w's, my who, what, when, where, and why

You were whom I love like the rays of sunlight shines everyday

You were what I love a girl who makes my heart and face smile to the fullest

You were when I love to the times when I was at my worst, you were always there first

You were where I love to the road where we once roamed and to the place where we once called home

You were why I love because you showed me things that I didn't know and things you have not told anyone 

All these situations that could happen to us

We could have been the best couple there is 

We would understand more about each other

I look at all these memories and all these chances...
