I told you " I love you " and you said " Thank you ", 

As we looked at each other we just smiled

To the time you had to leave I stayed behind

For as I was feeling hurt deep inside 

To accept the fact that you were gone

I ran to my house to cry it was a good thing cause I was home alone 

Days, weeks and months have past 

I never really realized that it would be that fast

To have lost my love my first and last 

My heart says move on but my soul is gone
