I Am

I Am

A Poem by Nora Grey
"

We had to do this for class, so I decided to put it up here!

"
I Am
By Nora Grey
I am beautiful and fragile
I wonder if I'll ever be picked
I hear the whispering wind, like a silent rumor
I see never ending fields
I want to be gathered up like a hug
I am beautiful and fragile
I pretend to be perfect
I feel small
I touch the ground, as cold as ice
I worry I'm useless
I cry when I blow away with the wind
I am beautiful and fragile
I am beautiful and fragile
I understand that I'm only a small part of this world
I say that I can take it
I dream that I can make it
I try to hold it together, like a ribbon holding together a box
I hope to be accepted
I am a flower

So we had to add four similes, so if some of the lines are awkward, just tell me and deal with it.. :0 :)

Thanks, my teacher said it was okay, but I won't know her complete review until this week. I really appreciate this, I was trying to do something no one else in my class would dare do.

I love the honest and openness.. The recurring images you utilize are effective and pronounced.
