Kiss in My Dreams

Kiss in My Dreams

A Poem by Slithering Angel

 /Kiss in My Dreams/

The flame continues to burn, an ache in my chest
The pain flowing through my veins
The water sliding down my throat, failing to quench
The acid venom still spreading

This kiss in my dreams, overflowing with need
Can you feel it, my heart in your hands
It clenched then burned and fell to dust
Beautiful in its own death

This warmth growing, filling my body
Your eyes so freakishly fantastic
My own frozen insides, twisting to reach your delicious heat
Radiating from your heart

This kiss in my dreams, crushing with feeling
I hope you feel it, your heart in my hands
It reached out then grabbed me and sunk its claws in
Wonderful in its own sadistic love

The darkness growing, secure in your arms
Sleep overtaking me
The ground shaking, earth moving, falling from beneath our feet
Falling into bliss, into chaos, into love

Thank you. I wasn't sure if what I was trying to say made it across to the reader, on this one. :-)
