"Mom," Jayce sighed. "Enough of that talk about wooing Dad." She opened her suitcase and took out the jumper, placing it on the wooden table. "I'm not wearing it. And that's that, full stop , period." Her Mom smiled. "Wait here, I'll be back in a sec, hun." Jayce rolled her eyes and started pouring some cereal into a bowl. She swiftly turned around and reached for the handle of the fridge. As she was pouring the milk into the bowl of cereal , her Mother came back in with a satin box tied with a lace ribbon. Her Mom place it down on the table, then she sat on one of the high chairs, leaning her head on her hands with her elbows on the table. "Since you're going away," she pushed the box towards Jayce ; eating her cereal. "Me and your Father thought you might need this. "
Jayce pushed the bowl aside , and slowly started opening the box . "A phone? " Jayce smiled "Thanks mom." Her Mom hopped off her chair; " You're welcome, sweetie." "Now, get on you coat because I've got to drive you to the airport!" Jayce rapidly put her coat on, slid on her backpack and held the handle of her suitcase . "LET'S GO TO FRANCE!" Jayce shouted exitedly.
