MermaidsA Poem by A.R. Rose
She wanders the deep ,
waiting for the flesh of man. Singing, luring , drowning, such beauty, such beauty, but a dark lingering evil core. Why does this evil creature have beauty? Wandering , waiting ,watching, she who claims the heart of a boy on deck such sorrow such sorrow , left with nothing , nothing i say, nothing but bones. She whoever , is a mermaid , some being kind and caring, but only found in the deepest waters, may the true beauty be, And only man who have the strongest heart shall meet this beauty.
