For a moment

For a moment

A Poem by Jay

For a moment the world froze in the pupils of your eyes
My heart beating my chest with exalting movements
Holding my breath and body paralyzed
It was one of those moments

For a moment I felt loved and lost
I felt cold and nervous
Shaking I thought
Your skin was like a thermos
It kept me warm and I felt safe

For a moment I gave in
I went over the edge n dived into sin
Lips touched like brushes
Painting all these thoughts with deep breaths and blushes
Sketched a portrait with dark lines and fine touches

For a moment my heart opened up
A gentle wound bursting all the venom out
I lost my train of thought
My soul inside me shouts

For a moment I remembered
A kiss opens up wounds unlike no other
We kill ourselves bit by bit
Bleeding to death and we don't even bother
To check the tip of their lips
