Stapled memories

Stapled memories

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

I've stapled
the memory of you
to my face
I see your eyes in mine
I hear your words when I speak
But when you smile
I can't
because your eyes have been dried
but mine remain wet.

A desperately sad and aching piece of writing that really tugs at the reader's heart and emotions. Most I believe have been in a similar situation and can feel these words as if they were written upon their flesh. Wonderfully done.

A wonderful piece of artwork to accompany your words. Striking it is. As for your brevity here, it is full of sadness at a loss of one who generates tears still. A lovely composition which touches this reader.

😂 I said happy
Why is the thunder and rain …. Never ending nowadays
I remember when getting upset took one day ….. what happened to that

Good one …. But I need one happy one
