nice pic Sleepless! breathtaking how the waves are flowing with silver ... such a somber lament from an ICU bed ... retired from a Nursing career in Pediatric ICU and know of what you speak .. it is a hard battle anyway but you add 24/7 lights, bells, buzzes and whistles ... every two and even one hour treatments ... "gunshot seconds" pounds me heart man! powerful words ... such a relevant senryu in this terrible covid struggle ... well done ... its a weight I can feel

Striking sunrise. As for your senryu anyone who has been in these circumstances would understand perfectly how stressful a situation like this can be. I have been there. Nicely done.

Yes it does. Been there with my daughter and my mum. Fortunately for me they both pulled through. Nothing short of a miracle. Sadly for some there is no miracle :(
